The Role:

Our Senior QA Engineer will have a wealth of engineering experience, to be involved in all aspects of the development process, ensuring that appropriate levels of quality are maintained throughout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for automation, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality automation solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will be great at:

  • Contributing to the growth of our regression packs and ensuring we maintain a high level of automated test coverage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bringing a QA perspective to teams, developers and planning sessions
  • Creating automated testing processes, and improve existing manual tests
  • Experience setting up frameworks/writing E2E tests, e.g. Javascript, Typescript & Cypress
  • Experience with Git, Docker etc
  • Setting up local development environments
  • Taking an active role in product discussions from a quality perspective
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Github actions & other tools,
  • Continuously identify opportunities for test process improvement and automation enhancement.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Strong API skills using Postman or similar

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4-6 years) in automation testing within the software industry, with a focus on web
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About you:

Ideally you will have a few years of experience testing web in a Data driven company , you will know your way around Software Development Lifecycles, testing tool (or any other project management/bug tracking tool), strong automation skills, and experience with JavaScript.
