The Role

As our Senior Executive Assistant, you will be the trusted support to our Founder/CSO and a key partner to the Core Leadership and Operations team. This is far more than just a diary management role – you’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations, improving processes, and keeping the business running effectively.

Your ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and handle sensitive information with discretion will be crucial in making sure our leadership can focus on high-impact initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a strategic partner to the Founder/CSO – keeping them focused on key priorities and ensuring their time is well spent.
  • Managing complex diaries and meetings across time zones while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Streamlining communication – handling internal and external correspondence, drafting key emails, and keeping leadership informed.
  • Preparing and facilitating board and leadership meetings, ensuring agendas are clear and follow-ups are actioned.
  • Overseeing travel and logistics, arranging seamless international and domestic itineraries.
  • Supporting key business functions, collaborating with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT to improve operational efficiency.
  • Driving process improvements, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions.
  • Coordinating company events and offsites to ensure smooth execution of key meetings, summits, and team events.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Executive Assistant supporting C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional diary management, prioritisation, and scheduling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and problem-solve independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in a high-growth start-up environment.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences industries.
  • Exposure to start-up environments and scaling operations.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance, ESG, and board meeting processes.
