License Management Specialist (Hybrid)
The License Manager is responsible for driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and to drive a centralised license management function across Northvolt.
License management includes cost savings through license optimization, compliance with relevant regulation, policies and best practices, while ensuring an enhanced productivity from efficient system or software application and improved decision-making.
Key responsibilities :
- Monitor and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements
- Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to optimise license usage and minimise costs
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to licensing policies and identify areas for improvement
Work closely with related purchasing teams, support and collaborate on contract management and negotiations
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline license management processes
- Develop and maintain documentation related to software assets, licenses, and usage policies
- Stay updated on licensing trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies
