The Role: The Expansion Lead will focus on understanding market dynamics, identifying high-value opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to build a pipeline of opportunities and ensure our go-to-market strategies are grounded in data and aligned with Medoma’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Sizing
- Conduct research to evaluate existing and emerging markets, analyzing trends, regulatory landscape, competition, and growth potential.
- Create comprehensive reports to support strategic decisions.
- Segment & ICP Prioritization
- Define and prioritize market segments and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) based on data-driven insights.
- Develop tools and frameworks to continuously evaluate new opportunities.
- Strategic Project Management
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance business growth objectives.
- Ensure alignment and clear communication between departments.
- Sales Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to refine lead qualification processes and identify high-potential opportunities.
- Support sales in developing pitches and proposals tailored to target segments.
- Partnership Exploration
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships that align with Medoma’s growth objectives.
- Initiate outreach and build relationships with potential collaborators.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in high performance: You have demonstrated excellence in strategy, consulting, investment banking or tech with more than 3–5 years in business development, market analysis, or a related field, ideally in healthcare, SaaS, or tech.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Proactivity: A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple priorities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and also a potential team around you
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
